National University–Sudan Staff and Faculty Complete Prestigious DNDi Good Clinical Practice Training
Khartoum, Sudan — In alignment with our institutional commitment to advancing research excellence and professional medical education, the National University–Sudan is proud to announce that our staff and faculty members have successfully completed a comprehensive Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training programme.
The specialized programme was organised by the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) and conducted in close collaboration with our partners at the Mycetoma Research Centre (MRC).
This training initiative underscores the university’s dedication to providing top-tier continuing professional development across our medical and health sciences faculties. Reflecting our belief in interdisciplinary education, the participating cohort from the National University and the MRC comprised a diverse group of healthcare professionals, including doctors, dentists, pharmacists, nurses, and laboratory technicians.

Adherence to GCP guidelines represents the global gold standard for ethical and scientific quality in clinical research. By embedding these rigorous competencies within our academic and clinical staff, the National University–Sudan continues to elevate its research infrastructure, ensuring our contributions to global health and clinical trials meet the highest international benchmarks.
We extend our congratulations to all participating faculty and staff members for their dedication to upholding academic integrity and clinical excellence.
