Scientific research and innovation are the cornerstones of a prosperous, resilient society. At the National University-Sudan, we are committed to building a research culture that is not only excellent but also deeply relevant to the challenges and opportunities facing our nation and region.
Our long-term vision is to become Sudan’s premier problem-solving university and a transformative regional hub where ideas move seamlessly from the laboratory to the marketplace and from the classroom to the community. To achieve this, we are working to establish a sustainable research funding ecosystem, build world-class research capacity, drive innovation and technology transfer, and foster strong international relationships.
In the coming year, we are focusing on operationalising our Deanship, launching internal seed grants, delivering practical research training, and forging initial partnerships with industry and global institutions.
