 Eligibility and Conditions

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Affiliation:
    The nominee must be a faculty member, researcher, or student currently affiliated with the National University-Sudan.
  • Originality and Quality of Publications:
    All submitted publications must be original, free from plagiarism, ethically approved where required, and scientifically rigorous.

Publications must be in Q1 or Q2 SCOPUS-indexed journals.

Number of publications: not fewer than ten (10) papers within the award year.

Scholarly Output:
Research must be published (or formally accepted) in recognized, peer-reviewed journals or presented at reputable scientific conferences, with preference given to high-impact, indexed publications.

Contribution to Knowledge:
The research should clearly demonstrate innovation, scientific merit, and relevance to local, regional, or global challenges.

Time Frame:
Only research completed within the last year will be considered to ensure that the award reflects current contributions.

Collaborative Work:
For joint publications or projects, the nominee’s specific role and contribution must be clearly documented and verifiable.

Documentation:
Applications must include a CV, copies of publications or acceptance letters, supporting evidence, and a concise impact statement explaining the significance of the work.

Compliance:
All submissions must comply with the University’s research ethics policies, authorship guidelines, and intellectual property regulations.

These conditions ensure transparency, fairness, and recognition of genuinely outstanding scientific achievements.
