A Delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education Visits National University – Khartoum to Finalize Accreditation of Postgraduate Physiotherapy Programs

The National University in Khartoum welcomed today a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as part of the final procedures to accredit the Higher Diploma and Master’s programs in Physiotherapy offered by the Faculty of Physiotherapy.

The committee held a coordination meeting with the university administration and the faculty leadership, during which they reviewed the academic plans, documentation, and quality standards related to the proposed programs. The delegation also conducted a field tour that covered classrooms, laboratories, and academic facilities to verify the institution’s readiness in terms of technical and human resources in accordance with official accreditation requirements.

The committee expressed its appreciation for the university’s commitment to quality standards and its efforts to develop programs aligned with higher education policies. The Ministry reaffirmed its dedication to supporting educational institutions that strive for excellence and aim to graduate qualified professionals in the field of physiotherapy.

For its part, the university administration commended the Ministry’s support and considered the visit an important step in strengthening the partnership between both sides. The university emphasized its ongoing commitment to developing its programs and improving the learning environment in line with the needs of the community and the labor market.
