National University – Sudan and Zain Partner for Skills Development and Cultural Celebration
The National University – Sudan, in partnership with Zain Telecommunications, successfully hosted a three-day event in Khartoum from 15–17 February. This initiative aimed to strengthen community ties while equipping students with the essential practical skills required for their future careers.
Empowering Students with Life-Saving Skills
A core component of the event was an intensive Basic Life Support (BLS) training programme. Over the course of three days, 47 trainees underwent rigorous practical instruction, covering:
High-quality Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Essential first-aid techniques.
Procedures adhering to internationally accredited standards.
Following the successful completion of the training requirements, participants were awarded certificates recognising their proficiency in these vital life-saving skills.
A Celebration of Culture and Community
The event concluded with a vibrant Traditional Day, bringing the campus to life with a showcase of cultural diversity. This celebration fostered a spirit of harmony and unity among the student body, perfectly embodying the university’s commitment to instilling values of cooperation and belonging.
