The Continuing Professional Development Center at National University-Sudan is committed to enhancing the teaching, research, and administrative skills of university staff. Moreover, CPD empowers individuals to adapt to evolving educational needs, research, and technology.

During the last year (October 2024 to September 2025), the Centre, in collaboration with the Mycetoma Research Centre, organised a series of workshops and seminars, both physical and through a digital platform, for scholars and university staff from within and outside the university. These activities enhance a wide range of skills essential for quality education and scientific research, and healthcare delivery.

These workshops provide training to more than 500 trainees. These training sessions include research methodologies, clinical skills, quality education, and learning techniques.

By fostering continuous training and skill development, CPD contributes to strengthening healthcare delivery, advancing knowledge through research, and ultimately improving educational outcomes within the local and broader community.
