Responsibilities
- Managing recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes for all university staff and faculty.
- Developing and updating HR policies in line with national and international standards.
- Overseeing employee records, payroll, benefits, and other administrative functions.
- Facilitating professional development programmes, training, and capacity-building initiatives.
- Conducting performance evaluations and implementing recognition programs.
- Ensuring compliance with labour laws, employment regulations, and university policies.
- Handling employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures.
- Promoting a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with international occupational health and safety standards.
- Supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives across the university community.
- Providing strategic HR advice to university leadership to support institutional growth and sustainability.
