- Suggest actions to achieve the strategic goals of NUSU
- Update the University documents to comply with the adopted quality standards
- Enhance the capacity building of NUSU staff

Responsibilities
- Assist the University to execute its Five Years Strategic Plan
- Develop and apply quality criteria to academic and nonacademic functions of the National University - Sudan
- Monitor the performance of the academic programmes to attain the University goals, objectives and outcomes
- Promote cooperation with international educational institutions to enhance the capacity building of NUSU academic staff
- Organize and participate in training related to quality assurance activities
- Prepare assessment reports, based on quality of education, services, curricular and extracurricular activities
- Prepare periodical “Self-Assessment Reports” for reviewing the effectiveness of NUSU Internal Quality Assurance System
- Prepare for external assessment by conducting a self-Assessment complying with the criteria set by the:
- Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research-Sudan
