Faculty Dean Message :

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the homepage of the National University – Sudan (NUSU). NUSU has established with a vision to be world-class leading provider of private higher education in the Sudan. Faculty of Engineering is part of NUSU organizational framework with a vision to educate the best and brightest of tomorrow’s leaders. The faculty starts with its three departments to form the base of Engineering and to play an important and critical role in NUSU vision and goals. These departments provide in depth specializations to serve broad range of activities in profession/higher studies and expanding the boundaries of knowledge. Faculty of Engineering developed with dynamic environment seeking to attract the best national and international students, providing a friendly and supportive environment which fulfills their potential. The academic staff contribute in varying degrees to the teaching, research, technical supports and administration works in the faculty, University and beyond through their membership of external committees and organizations. This faculty is poised to help the University takes the next step toward building a better quality of life for our future generation who will excel in meeting the challenges to serve the society.

Five batches have been graduated (the first batch graduated in 2015).

OBJECTIVES

Emphasize values and ethical heritage of the Sudanese Nation in its curriculum, and follow strategies that lead to strengthening these values, as an important component of the National University philosophy and message.

Graduate practitioners with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MB BS), with strong community orientation and ethical components.

Strengthen medical and health research, making use of the University’s facilities and communication privileges.to promote up-to-date modern medical education.

Contribute to community development through health services provided in its own health institutions and other institutions co-operating with it, through the following:  

(a) partnership in designing health programs and plans, and implement whatever is feasible in  utilizing the experience of specialists,

 (b) Contribution in continuous education through short and long term courses, to improve efficiency of health workers, 

(c) Provision of essential equipment and supplies to improve quality of services, through partnership with the Ministry of Health.

Vision

The vision of the faculty is to provide an excellent university education consistent with The National University and the most respected programs of its kind that provides up-to-date medical education, quality health research and trusted partnership with the community and other health sectors.

Mission

The mission is to prepare graduates to perform successfully in the international environment by creating a set of standards, a literature of understanding international politics and behavior of nations, approaches to foreign policy, diplomatic representation and diplomatic activities.
